Transport Calendar
In many companies, delivery scheduling runs on phone calls, notes and a spreadsheet that only one person maintains. Who delivers when is in the dispatcher's head. Whether the excavator is even on site at that time turns out on arrival. And the quantity actually delivered comes back days later on a paper delivery note.
The Transport Calendar replaces that with one continuous process, from assigning the slot to the final feedback.
Schedule like in Outlook. You create slots per haulier with a click, move them by drag and drop, and switch between day and week view. Several appointments can be selected and carried over into the following week instead of being created again. Everything needed on site sits on the slot: log length, crane requirement, remarks and notes.
The excavator window is checked automatically. If an appointment falls outside the availability of the crane or unloading excavator, the system warns you immediately. Both when creating and when moving it.
Your hauliers need no system access. Every haulier is set up as a vendor in the Transport category and receives a permanent link. No login, no app installation, responsive on phone and tablet. Each one sees only their own appointments.
The delivery note is created at the landing. The driver selects the matching haulage order line, records truck number, cubic metres and pieces, marks the pile as cleared if applicable, and submits. They receive the CMR or delivery document as a PDF and can see their completed delivery notes.
Status and quantities travel both ways. When a driver reports a delay, including a negative one for arriving early, the dispatcher sees it in the calendar, color coded. New appointments, haulage orders and status changes are synchronized through the job queue, recommended every five minutes. After scaling, the actual quantity flows back into the delivery note history.
