Dynamic bills of materials through individual configuration of your packaging

You can create specific crates, pallets and/or frames tailored to your customers' packaged goods. Moreover, with our integrated configurator you can record any special feature of different designs according to customer requirements and receive the correspondingly adjusted bill of materials and work schedules. You can also calculate the expected costs and calculate customer prices at the push of a button according to your specifications.

Plan and control packaging processes

With our tools like package planning, packaging configurator and container stowage, you determine how and when your customers' goods are packaged and how and when they are loaded for shipping. Naturally, larger quantities of smaller units can also be packaged together and further processed. All these processing steps are also supported by our acadon_mobile app for paperless handling.

Complete overview of your customers' packaged goods

From recording your customers' packaged goods on-site, to packaged goods receipt and storage, to packaging and goods dispatch – with acadon_packaging, you always know where packaged goods are and in what condition. Through mobile processing via the acadon_mobile app, every action is easily and quickly recorded and can be documented with photos. Naturally, it is also easy to bill your customers for storage fees.

The measurement order

The basis for the size of wooden packaging is the dimensions of the packaged goods provided by your customer. If these dimensions are missing or incorrect, it can have disastrous consequences, such as producing a crate that is too small.

The "measurement order" function was developed for this purpose. With this step, which can easily be integrated into your process chain, you can arrange for either an external service provider or an internal employee to re-measure the goods before the corresponding packaging goes into production. The internal employee can even conveniently transmit their results on-site with acadon_mobile – the data is automatically updated in the packaged goods card after transmission.

Want to know if you've configured your wooden packaging correctly? The calculations can become very complex. With just a formula, it's very difficult to determine whether the configured crate meets your requirements. This is where the 3D view can help! See and check at a glance what the result of your bill of materials calculation template will be. In a vivid 3D preview, you can see what your packaging will look like. Rotate and tilt your model in all directions and check the dimensions for each individual component.

Keep a constant eye on inventory and goods value

With the acadon_packaging solution, you can keep a close eye on your raw material inventory as well as materials in production. Storage, transfers and inventories become child's play with the use of the acadon_mobile app. Tracking packages/batches and monitoring certificates (FSC, PEFC, etc.) pose no problem either. Automatically initiate demand notifications and reorder the required goods at the push of a button. Of course, you can also easily and flexibly evaluate inventory changes with the acadon_BI tool, allowing you to optimise your stock value.

As a first step, it is easiest if we give you an insight into the solution in a short presentation so you can get to know the possibilities. After that, it is also possible to gain access to a demo system. However, since it won't contain your data, we recommend initially setting up the basics together so you can then test it with relevant data.

Contact us via our contact form or by phone and we will promptly get in touch and arrange a meeting to introduce the people and the solution.

If you are using the cloud solution, you only need an end device with a web client and an internet connection. Since our solution runs web client-based, no installation on the device is required.

Yes, acadon_packaging is available as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution in the cloud. Here, the only requirement is a device (laptop, PC, tablet, etc.).

There is also an On-Prem solution for acadon_packaging that we can install on your server.

acadon_packaging is licensed based on named users, i.e. each named user requires their own licence. An exception to this is device licences, which license devices and are mainly used for mobile processing.

For the cloud solution, the licence is calculated as a monthly subscription that additionally includes maintenance, basic support and updates.

The On-Prem solution can be provided as a purchase or rental licence.
