Dynamic Bills of Materials through Custom Configuration of Your Industrial Packaging

Our solution allows you to configure specific boxes, pallets, and crates tailored to your customers' requirements. With the integrated configurator, you can capture all the details of different constructions and automatically generate the corresponding bills of materials and work plans. Additionally, you can calculate expected costs and generate customer prices with a simple click, based on your predefined settings.

Planning and Control of Packaging Processes

With our tools, such as bundle planning, packaging configurator, and container stowage, you determine which goods from your customers are packaged, how and when they are packed, and when and how they are loaded. Of course, larger quantities of smaller units can also be packaged together and processed further. All these processing steps are supported by our app, acadon_mobile, enabling paperless transactions.

With acadon_packaging, you always have full transparency over the entire process of your packaged goods—from on-site capture, goods receipt, and storage to packaging and goods dispatch. Thanks to the mobile processing with the acadon_mobile app, all actions are quickly and easily recorded and can even be documented directly with photos. The billing of storage fees for your customers is also seamlessly handled through the system.

Measuring Order: Precise Dimensions for Perfect Packaging

The correct dimensions of packaging directly depend on the measurements of the goods to be packaged, provided by your customer. If these dimensions are inaccurate or missing, it can lead to significant issues, such as producing a box that’s too small.

To avoid these risks, our "Measuring Order" feature offers a seamless solution. It allows either an external service provider or an internal employee to measure the goods precisely before production. With acadon_mobile, an internal employee can capture and transmit the measurement data on-site, ensuring the data is automatically updated in the documentation.

3D View: Inspect Your Packaging in Detail

Are you unsure if your configured industrial packaging is correct? Often, the calculations are so complex that it’s hard to tell from the formulas alone whether the box meets the requirements. This is where the 3D view helps!

With a clear 3D preview, you can instantly see the result of your bill of materials calculation. You can rotate and tilt the model in all directions, closely inspecting the dimensions of each individual component. This ensures that your packaging precisely matches your specifications and requirements.

For the cloud version of acadon_packaging, all you need is a device with a web browser and a stable internet connection. Our software is fully web-based, so no installation on your device is required.

acadon_packaging is specifically designed for companies that primarily manufacture industrial packaging from wood. The focus is on optimizing processes and supporting the unique requirements of the wood-based packaging industry. However, the software can also be used by companies that incorporate other materials into their packaging production.

acadon_packaging is licensed based on named users, meaning each individually named user requires their own license. An exception to this are device licenses, which are assigned to specific devices and are primarily used for mobile processing.

For the cloud solution, the license is offered as a monthly subscription, which includes the license itself, maintenance, basic support, and updates.
