With over 5,000 members, ZEG is Germany’s largest cooperative in the woodworking industry. In recent months, ZEG has extensively explored the selection of its future ERP partner to give its ERP structure a new and modern form, as well as to adapt it to current and future requirements.
After a long and intensive workshop phase, the responsible parties at ZEG have chosen to implement the acadon_timber solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In the past, we always had to start from scratch to communicate our challenges,” said Martin Kolakowski (Board Member), who is convinced that ZEG is choosing the right partner with acadon and the acadon_timber solution.
Acadon has been known as a competent service provider at ZEG for several years. Excellent work has already been done in the area of configurators, especially for the door industry.
The goal is to lay the foundation for further digitization projects at ZEG with the implementation of the acadon_timber industry solution – provided by acadon AG, a software provider specializing in ERP solutions and IT services in the wood industry, based in Krefeld – and to keep the ERP structure up to date with the latest developments in the future.
